Wuthering Waveshas finally launched its massive 2.0 update, titled All Silent Souls Can Sing, bringing a wealth of new content, including a new region, weapons, echoes, stories, and more. Wuthering Wavesis a story-rich, open-world action RPG developed by Kuro Games. Since theannouncement ofWuthering Waves’ 2.0 update, players have been eagerly anticipating the new content it would bring. Finally, the wait is over, and players can start the new year 2025 with tons of new things to explore in the world ofWuthering Waves.
Among thenew additions in theWuthering Waves2.0 update, players will encounter a new region called Rinascita. The developer mentioned in the patch notes that players who reach union level 14 and complete the main quest chapter 1 in act 3 will be able to access “Next Stop: Rinascita” and unlock the main quest Chapter 2 prologue. Moreover, the game has introduced the Carlotta and Roccia Resonators. Players can get their hands on these through the Featured Resonator Convene and the Featured Weapon Convene.
Update 2.0 also features new additions toWuthering Waves’ arsenal, such as the Last Dance (Pistols), Tragicomedy (Gauntlets), and Call of the Abyss (Rectifier). These weapons can be obtained through the Featured Weapon Convene, while others can be unlocked by completing specific quests. Another exciting addition is the 30 new echoes, expanding players' possibilities in the game. It also features new stories, including “Main Quest Chapter 2: All Silent Souls Can Sing.” The quest revolves around players heading to a distant land across the sea to honor a pact the character made long ago. Chapter 2 progress is saved separately from Chapter I progress, and taking on Chapter 2 early does not affect the player’s progress in Chapter I. to get the most out of their experience, the developer advises players to complete Chapter I Act 8 before starting Chapter 2.
Players can also participate in several different events happening over the coming months. Among these is the Tales of the Isles: Area Exploration Event, where they must collect stamps to increase the event level and unlock rewards for theirWuthering Wavescharacters. Co-op events will also be available, where players will need to investigate the painted world assisted by various Echoes.
