Several additions are coming toWuthering Waveswith its 2.0 update. The patch will center around Rinascita, the next main explorable region of Solaris-3. The release of Rinascita also means that new playable characters, Echoes, and quests are set to arrive. While the new nation may be Version 2.0’s most attractive content, developer Kuro Games will show love to some Huanglong characters as well. Earlier in December,Wuthering Wavesrevealed Jinhsi’s premium skin, which will not only include a new dress for the character but also updated combat animations and a weapon variant. Now,Wuthering Waveshas unveiled yet another skin for a day-one character.
An announcement onWuthering Waves’official websitereveals Sanhua’s new skin called “Exorcistic Adjuration.” As seen in its illustration, Sanhua’s new outfit consists of a Yaksha mask and a white and turquoise dress. Unlike Jinhsi’s premium skin, Sanhua’s outfit variant does not showcase any updates other than her clothes. Players can obtain Sanhua’s skin for free by participating in the “Dance For Spring’s Return” login event during Version 2.0. Considering that she is one ofWuthering Waves' permanent free characters, longtime players might already have Sanhua on their roster.
How To Obtain Sanhua’s Free Skin in Wuthering Waves Version 2.0
The event requires players to send a set number of daily invitations to Companions. Aside from Sanhua’s skin, fans can also claim Crystal Solvent and some EXP materials. It is worth noting that Sanhua’s skin will be free to obtain for a limited time. After the login event, the skin will be permanently added toWuthering Waves' in-game outfit store and be sold for 1680 Lunites. Players can also seize the opportunity to obtain Sanhua’s Sequence Nodes since she will be featured in theWuthering WavesVersion 2.0 banners.
Wuthering WavesVersion 2.0 is scheduled to go live on May 12, 2025. While Kuro Games' primary focus has been the promotion of Rinascita content, previous leaks suggest that several features are to be added in Version 2.0. Earlier leaks revealed a newgender-switch mechanic forWuthering Waves' main character, while another report teased upgraded special effects for all playable characters.
