HoYoverse releases a big hot fix forZenless Zone Zero, addressing a variety of bugs and other issues currently impacting the player experience. December has been a busy month for HoYoverse andZenless Zone Zero, releasing the highly anticipated Version 1.4, getting nominated for two awards at The Game Awards 2024, as well as teasing the next upcoming agents.
Version 1.4 ofZenless Zone Zerowas one of the biggest updates that the live-service game has seen to date, finally adding the conclusion to the current storyline originally started at launch. Two new agents joined the roster, including the highly anticipated Hoshimi Miyaba and Asaba Harumasa, the latter of which can be obtained for free. Alongside new events, locations, and a big PS5 Pro enhancement, the update also featured a few unintentional issues as well.
In a new hot fix released on December 26,Zenless Zone Zerohas dealt with a number of issues currently plaguing the game. One of the new additions inZenless Zone Zerois Hollow Zero: Lost Void, a new expansion of the game mode that adds new rewards and features. However, the new game mode also came with a number of bugs that are being addressed in this update, fixing abnormal sound effects, Bangboo View Mode issues, icons not displaying correctly, and problems with certain Resonia, to name a few.
Alongside Hollow Zero: Lost Void, the update also makes adjustments to various gameplay-related problems with boss fights, UI display, and mission completion blockers. Version 1.4 also added a new feature that allows players to spend quality time with their favorite agent around New Eridu, a more detailed extension ofZenless Zone Zero’s Agent Trust Event feature. This update aims to address numerous bugs and other problems that also arrived with Version 1.4, causing incorrect voice lines to trigger, the camera’s selfie mode to not activate, or Trust rank not being earned.
While Version 1.4 has plenty for players to do in it, HoYoverse has plenty more on the way for fans of the game. As seen at The Game Awards 2024,Zenless Zone Zerorevealed its next two S-Rank Agentswith Astra Yao and Evelyn Chevalier. Unofficially, leakers have also attempted to provide more context for Version 1.5, hinting at a new agent story, extra free banner pulls, and even a potential alternate skin for Nicole Demara.
